A young man is wanted after he allegedly killed his mother, and buried her in a shallow grave.
The man, identified as Chukwudi Chukwu, a native of Umumnakpi village, Egwu Achi community in Oji River, Enugu, is said to have killed his mother on Sunday, March 21.
After killing her, he reportedly decapitated her, and buried her body in a shallow grave in their compound.
He then reportedly fled and has not been seen since then.
The police has exhumed the body of the deceased and declared the man wanted.
A young man who was captured on CCTV stealing phones in a plaza has been caught after he allegedly tried to steal again.
The CCTV footage making rounds on social media said to be captured on January 22, shows the boy walking suspiciously into a shop in ASPAMDA, Trade Fair, to allegedly steal phones belonging to traders.
According to LIB, he returned days later wearing the same T-shirt. However, he ran out of luck this time and was nabbed by the traders who accused him of attempting to steal again.In the viral video, traders could be seen interrogating him while noting that he will no longer be allowed into the market.
A Nigerian guy has taking to Twitter to narrate how his friend got fired by his boss for referring to his own mother as an illiterate.
According to him, the said boss was speaking with one of his staff on phone when the staff mentioned that he was with his mother.
The boss then asked to speak with the mother and the staff quickly chipped in that his mother is an illiterate and then asked his boss to speak to her in Yoruba.
This reportedly angered the boss who said the man is supposed to speak highly of his mother, and not make derogatory remarks about her.
He was instantly fired via email as a result of this because the boss felt that must be the way he speaks about clients too.
